Learn how to survive as we walk you through the steps we took on a week long primitive survival outing. I know its long, but its packed with cool skills. Skills shown are shelter, primitive coconut opening, gathering food, friction fire from Bamboo, basket weaving and traps, primitive spearfishing, rope making, bamboo fish trap, diving deep for conch, mongoose trapping, bamboo cooking, snail roast and clay baking. ****For those of you that are wondering, yes, we did find another source of water and boiled the water in bamboo.
And, hydrocyanic acid, found in Almonds, is burned off when heated, this is why we roasted them.
And lastly, the spines of Lion Fish are toxic if they stick you, the fish meat is not, it is very commonly eaten, so we cut the spines off and were all set.
